About the Role

Are you a strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and a passion for sales? We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager responsible for the entire sales process, from lead generation to client retention. Help DGTLMOTION grow by developing strategic sales plans and closing successful deals. Build strong client relationships, establish new collaborations, and contribute to expanding the sales team.

What will you do?

In this role, you blend strategy with action to ensure sales is not just a process, but a powerhouse for growth and success.


  • Qualifying leads (inbound and outbound) and mapping their challenges and needs.


  • Managing the full sales funnel, from lead generation to contract signing and client relationship management.


  • Enhancing visibility by attending events and client meetings.


  • Organising and presenting use cases, alongside our digital growth experts, to persuade prospects of our services.


  • Drafting project proposals, in collaboration with our digital growth experts, and finalising partnership agreements.

  • Keeping all sales activities up to date in our central CRM system, HubSpot, for a structured and efficient workflow.

  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting sales results, leveraging insights to optimise sales strategies.

  • Identifying new market segments and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

  • Expanding, training, and coaching the Sales team in the future to unlock the full potential of the team.

About You

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's/Master's level of thinking and working, preferably in a commercial field.​


  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar sales position, ideally within the marketing or technology sector.​


  • Skills and Expertise:

    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.​

    • Results-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.​

    • Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English.

    • An established network within relevant industries.

Your workweek is a dynamic mix of sales, strategy, and client interaction! Daily, you engage in reaching out to new clients, following up on leads, and closing deals. You keep a close watch on your pipeline, work on tailor-made proposals, and build lasting client relationships.


As the driving force behind sales, you work closely with the marketing and delivery teams to maximise opportunities and successfully close deals. You stay connected with colleagues via Slack, while client conversations flow smoothly through email, phone, or personal meetings.


At the office, we lunch together, and between meetings, there's time for a game of ping-pong, backgammon, or FIFA to unwind. On Fridays, we often wrap up the week with a drink or an early start to your weekend, reflecting on your successful deals and looking forward to new opportunities.
