My Treats aimed to establish itself as a new, distinctive brand in the competitive hospitality market. Our challenge was to successfully introduce this innovative platform by clearly defining their unique proposition, quickly building trust, and validating a strong product-market fit. With a balanced B2B and B2C strategy, the right channel choices, and expertise in growth marketing, data, and automation, we strived to bring sustainable dining experiences within reach for a broad audience.

Users - Phase 1: Validation Process
We began with an in-depth investigation to validate or invalidate the raison d'être of My Treats. This included go-to-market strategy workshops, value proposition sessions, and in-depth interviews to analyse user needs. We reached a target audience of conscious and highly educated consumers through LinkedIn scraping and email marketing. Over 700 positive customer conversations via email exchanges, featuring constructive criticism, and dozens of in-depth video customer interviews helped identify 'pains & gains' to optimise the minimum viable product (MVP), or application.
Users - Phase 2: Go-To-Market Strategy
To launch the platform broadly, always-on campaigns were deployed on iOS, Android, and SEA, complemented by geo-targeting for international restaurant recommendations. Results were meticulously tracked via Mixpanel dashboarding, while Instagram and TikTok were activated for maximum visibility.
Users - Phase 3: Scaling
We incorporated monthly customer discussions within marketing activities, ensuring a continuous feedback loop and improvements in product development.
Restaurants - Phase 1: Efficiency and Acceleration
For restaurants, we created an efficient workflow (read: advanced scraper) by screening sustainable restaurants with stringent filters and automatically enriching them with descriptions. This enabled My Treats to swiftly and effectively add restaurants to their map. The process for finding and managing sustainable restaurants worldwide was set up for both manual and automatic updates, fostering scalability within Europe.
Restaurants - Phase 2: Business Model
We developed a go-to-market strategy for a premium model, allowing restaurants to upgrade to Top Treats status. This gives them their own profile and additional benefits within the app, enhancing their visibility and appeal to users.
Future Plans
Scaling includes expansion into global markets, with attention to local providers outside major cities. We continue to work on automating the scraping and screening of restaurants, focusing on broader visibility and growth in consumer reach.
To drive My Treats on a successful growth path, we have worked based on data, user insights, and a scalable technology infrastructure.
